On April 1 at 1:00 pm (room 102, Malūnų st. 3, C1 building) Robin Waart (Amsterdam, the Netherlands) will read an open lecture “The book as a medium and an event”.

Robin Waart will present his recent projects, introduce the new publication Dedication(s) and talk about the "book" as a medium and sculptural event.

Artist uses repetition and collecting as a framework for projects with books, movie stills, photography, polaroids and pages. His work raises questions about (dis)continuity and what it means to look at, or do the same thing over and over.

Robin Waart (NL/UK) studied Classics in Amsterdam and received his BA from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie, Amsterdam, and MA from the Royal Academy of Arts, The Hague.
