The Laboratory of Graphic Art received additional new modern equipment used for traditional and contemporary printmaking processes. It includes an etching press with the printing area of 150 x 300 cm, and a intaglio printmaker press from Holland; three manual silk-screen printing tables; UV exposure unit for production of silk-screen screens; a portable lithography press for small-size traditional and offset (lithograph) prints, which will be used for student summer projects as well as for educational events; 6 table-tops for drying prints which hold 100 units at least; a guillotine book block trimmer, a large size aquatint box (for usage of powdered acid resistant material); a good quality energy-efficient electric hot-plate for etching section; UV exposure unit for production of photo-polymer and offset printing plates. This was an exceptionally welcome and necessary piece of equipment.
