ABOUT: Situated in the heart of Vilnius's Old Town, the Faculty of Vilnius Academy of Arts takes pride in its burgeoning creative and organizational relationships with neighbouring galleries, art education institutions, art centres, and initiatives. Serving as the headquarters of the Academy, the Vilnius Faculty is nestled in the historic Old Town, the capital of Lithuania. You can find Vilnius Faculty at multiple locations: Maironio St. 6, Maironio St. 3, Malūnų St. 5, and Jasinskio St. 16 A. Vilnius faculty combines old historical buildings and new modern workshops. 

Student union welcomes new members at the start of the academic year in September. Students organize a variety of events: artsy parties, evening painting sessions, evening film viewings, and evening board game sessions.

Library: Located on the 3rd floor of Maironio St. 6 (the old building), the library offers the opportunity to borrow books using the pick-up locker (knygomatas) – your convenient solution for accessing library materials. Additionally, access to online databases is available.

KAUNAS FACULTY

ADDRESS: Muitines st. 4, Kaunas

ARRIVAL: By plane to Kaunas International Airport and then take a taxi or bus number 29G and walk 15 minutes to Kaunas Faculty.

By bus to Kaunas Bus Station and then bus number 42 or 18 and walk 5 minutes to Kaunas Faculty.
By train to Kaunas Railway Station and then bus number 42 or 18 and walk 5 minutes to Kaunas           Faculty.

ABOUT: Located in the heart of the Old Town Kaunas Faculty of Vilnius Academy of Arts is proud of the growing creative and organizational relations with neighbouring galleries, art education institutions, art centres and initiatives. The second largest city in Lithuania, with the Art Academy in the heart of the old town.
The city has not only rich history, but a modern take on life to offer. Established in 1922 Kaunas The faculty of Vilnius Academy of Arts is the main centre of art education in the central part of Lithuania for students from nearly 30 districts of the country.

The teaching staff at Kaunas Faculty is made up of well-known artists, designers, architects and specialists in humanities who have a wide range of practical and creative experience and are actively involved in the cultural life of Lithuania. Students acquire a high level of professional skills by working in studios (ceramic, glass art, sculpture) and laboratories (textile art, applied graphics, photography, industrial design) and performing practical tasks. Critical and conceptual thinking is developed by studying subjects of social sciences and humanities as well as executing independent creative projects.

KLAIPĖDA FACULTY

ADRESS: Daržų st.18, Klaipėda.

ARRIVAL: By plane to Vilnius International Airport or Kaunas International Airport and then
by bus or train to Klaipėda.

From the Palanga Airport by bus or train to Klaipėda. From Klaipėda bus station/train station by taxi or 8 bus and walk 5 min.

ABOUT: Klaipėda is a port city in Lithuania, where the Baltic Sea meets the Danė River. In 1974, the Section of Artists-Decorators to the Club Industry Department of Klaipėda The faculty of the State Conservatoire of the Lithuanian Soviet Republic was established. The founder of the establishment, and the former Vice-Chancellor of the faculties V. Jakelaitis, has said to be glad about the section‘s foundation, particularly as it is in our city: “We have the pride of the founders left for us, and the City of Klaipėda has benefited from it.“

TELŠIAI FACULTY

ADRESS: Muziejaus str. 29, Telšiai

ARRIVAL: Telšiai can be reached from Vilnius Airport by train and bus, and from Kaunas
Airport and Palanga Airport by bus. From Riga Airport by airport express.  From Telšiai railway station you can get to the VDA Telšiai Faculty by bus No 3 or taxi, from the bus station you can take a taxi or walk (distance approx. 500 m). On arrival, please contact the dean's office of the VDA Telšiai Faculty.

ABOUT: The Telšiai Faculty of the Academy of Fine Arts is a structural part of the Vilnius Academy of Arts, which has its classrooms, workshops, and equipment, but at the same time it has access to the material base and methodological resources of the Academy and all of its other departments.
