Graphic Art department invites Graphic Art and Visual communication students and all the academic community to Artist Talk – lecture with graphic designer Geoff Han (USA).

Geoff Han is an independent graphic designer and educator based in New York working in publishing, art, and architecture internationally. He have lectured about his practice in the US at Yale, Harvard and Princeton and in Europe at ZHdK Zurich University of the Arts, ECAL Lausanne, HFG Karlsruhe and EKA Tallinn.
The lecture focuses on experiments in commercial offset printing and production in Asia and Europe and the conditions of working as an independent graphic designer in the context of New York and Asia.
Recent clients are Daido Moriyama, Electronic Arts Intermix, New Art Dealers Alliance, Rockbund Art Museum, SO–IL, Source Type and Wing Shya. He was previously Design Director of “Ran Dian” and “PIN–UP” magazines. Han is a member of common room and has taught at A School, A Park, Gerrit Rietveld Academie, Typography Summer School, Werkplaats Typographie and Yale University. His work has been awarded at the Most Beautiful Book in the World and Most Beautiful Swiss Books competitions. He received an MFA in Graphic Design from Yale University.
