DETAILS OF THE PROJECT:

WHEN: September 18 to 22, 2023

PROJECT THEME: Redevelop a green space in Macerata from a historical-architectural and landscape point of view.
OBJECTIVES: To consolidate the student's technical and artistic skills in the design of green areas for the city, in order to create harmonious and fascinating compositions and place them in a living and natural context.
DURATION: 1 day online + 5 days in-person
CREDITS AWARDED: 3
PREREQUISITES: Knowledge of AUTOCAD, PHOTOSHOP, ILLUSTRATOR (or related programs)
EQUIPMENT: Students must have a laptop equipped with the programs indicated in the PREREQUISITES
MATERIALS: The materials and other necessary equipment will be provided by the academy
DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITIES: Sept. 8: ONLINE on CLASSROOM MEET, BRIEF OF THE PROJECT (about 1 hour);
SEPT. 18 - 22: IN-PERSON

FACILITIES:

Domus San Giuliano in Macerata - sent us a good offer:

triple bedrooms for €27,00 per night per person with breakfast included
double bedrooms for €30,00 per night per person with breakfast included
single bedrooms for €35,00 per night per person with breakfast included

MATERIALS:

Students are asked to bring their own computers with AUTOCAD, Photoshop and Illustrator installed.
They can bring a camera if they have one and they will be asked to take pictures but their mobiles will work as well.
The Academy of Fine Arts in Macerata (ABAMC) will provide students with all needed materials (papers, pencils, brushes etc.)

VIRTUAL COMPONENT:

Before the mobility students will participate in an introductory virtual brief of the project where all the participants will meet each other. (Presumably the 10th of September 2023). 

The structure of the BIP will be as follow:

18th September:

In-class presentation and division of the students into groups.
On-the-spot investigation of the site chosen for the space planning project.

Following days:

In-class workshops.
Short theoretical lectures according to the work in progress.

Last day (22nd September 2023):

Presentation of the final projects.
Comparison and discussion of the results achieved.

FUNDING:

Erasmus+ funding (BIP) - 553,00 Eur per participant (for travel, accommodation and sustenance).
