Paroda DEDICATED TO LIGHT yra pirmoji dalis dar būsimos parodos DEDICATED TO BLUE. Šioje parodoje pristatomos šviesos ir stiklo instaliacijos. Eksponuojami darbai yra sukurti per pastaruosius septynerius metus: keturi skirtingi darbai, jų idėjos ir motyvai. Darbus jungiantis dalykas – medžiagiškumas ir žiūrovo interpretacijos, kurios papildo darbus ir jiems sukuria naują, gilesnę prasmę. Stiklo ir šviesos instaliacijų parodos – nedažnas reiškinys Lietuvos meno lauke, todėl šia paroda menininkė nori plėsti šios šiuolaikinio vaizduojamojo meno rūšies žinomumą.
„Vandens Matrica"
Įsivaizduokite, kad Žemėje nebeliko geriamojo vandens. Taip pat įsivaizduokite galimybę perkelti vandenį į erdvę, kurioje jis neišnyktų. Darbe menininkė vaizduoja vandens virsmą matricos kodais. Matydami save veidrodyje (darbe) matome ateities viziją, kurioje užkoduojamas ir matrica paverčiamas vanduo.
„Freedom through Colour“
Iliuzija, kurioje žmogaus matymas pakeistų mąstymą. Įtrūkis – išsilaisvinimo, laisvės išraiška. Matydami vaizdinius, juos analizuojame pasitelkdami savo išgyvenimus, kurie sukelia fiziologinius ir psichologinius pojūčius. Taip matymas tampa mąstymu.
„Paviršiaus Įtempiai“
Paviršiaus įtempis – skysčio paviršių veikianti jėga, atsirandanti dėl skysčio molekulių tarpusavio traukos. Ši jėga pasireiškia tik labai ploname, kelių molekulių skersmens skysčio sluoksnyje. Taip atsiranda vanduo – stiklas – plokštumų persidengimas ir sluoksniavimas.
„X”
2024 m. sukurtas darbas – tai nauja 2018 m. darbo temos interpretacija. Šis kūrinys – simbolinis parodos apibendrinimas. Jis atskleidžia, kaip keitėsi menininkės požiūris į stiklo medžiagą. Darbas atspindi menininkės kūrybinę kelionę vitražo meno srityje.

Urtė Lagunavičiūtė (g. 1999 m.) – vitražistė, stiklo ir šviesos instaliacijų kūrėja. 2022 m. baigusi įvietinto meno katedros, vitražo specialybės bakalaurą Vilniaus dailės akademijoje. Šiuo metu studijuoja vitražo magistrą. Menininkė savo kūryboje tyrinėja, kaip žiūrovą veikia šviesa ir spalvos. Autorės darbuose perteikiamos šių dienų aktualijos ir problemos tampa esminiu kūrinių leitmotyvu. Interaktyviomis šviesos ir stiklo instaliacijomis menininkė skatina žiūrovą įsigilinti į darbą ir jį interpretuoti savaip, taip papildant darbo reikšmę.

DEDICATED TO LIGHT, the second part of DEDICATED TO BLUE In this exposition the artist presents light and glass installations, and their variability. The art on display was created during the last seven years. Four different pieces, their ideas, and motives. They are united by their material and the viewer's interpretations, which complement the works and give them a new, deeper meaning.
“The Matrix of Water“
Imagine that there is no drinking water on Earth anymore. Explore the possibility of transferring water into a space where it would never disappear. In this piece, the artist portrays water turning into matrix codes. When we look at the piece, we see our reflection in which a vision of the future where water is encoded and transformed into a matrix becomes clear.
“Freedom through Colour”
An illusion in which human vision replaces thinking. The crack in the glass is an expression of liberation, of freedom. When we see images, we analyze them through our own experiences, which trigger physiological and psychological sensations. This is how seeing becomes thinking.
“Surface Tensions“
Surface tension is the force exerted on the surface of a liquid due to the attraction between the molecules of the liquid. This force is only present in a very thin layer of water, which is as thin as the diameter of a few molecules. In this piece, the water becomes layered glass.
“X“
This piece is a reimagining of a work that the artist created in 2018. The piece is a symbolic summary of the exhibition. It reveals how the artist's approach to glass has changed. The work reflects the beginning and the present of the artist’s creative journey in the field of glass art.
Glass and light installations are not that common in the field of Lithuanian art. The goal of this exhibition to draw attention of this contemporary visual art form in Lithuanian culture.

Urtė Lagunavičiūtė (born 1999) is a glass artist who creates glass and light installations. In 2022, she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in glass art from the department of Site-specific Art in Vilnius Art Academy. Through her works, Lagunavičiūtė analyses how light, and colour affect the viewer’s experience. Her pieces address the issues and problems of our time, which become the leitmotif of her work. The artist encourages viewers to dig deep and interpret her work in their own way, thus adding new meaning to her art.
