Simona Žemaitytė’s works have been recognised at the 15th Tallinn Triennial and the Sheffield Documentary Festival. Her films have been exhibited at the National Gallery of Art in Vilnius, the Kaunas Biennial, the Oberhausen Film Festival, the Cinémathèque française platform, Kasa Gallery and Galata Perform in Istanbul, BAFTA, RichMix in London, and the Contemporary Art Centre (CAC) in Vilnius. She is represented by Meno Parkas Gallery. She has taught at Royal Holloway and UCL in London, completed her Doctorate in Fine Arts at the Vilnius Academy of Arts, and is currently conducting postdoctoral research at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre (LMTA).
