Aušra Lisauskienė is a graphic designer working in communication design, typography and calligraphy areas. Her field of interest is a visual examination of the phenomenon of typography and practice in an interdisciplinary field. She is designing identities and communication systems for cultural events, exhibitions, is designing books, creates typefaces BALTAI, UROBORAS, is an expert in his field; organizes and supervises the international exhibitions, including, since 2008 “Traveling Letters"exhibition in many European countries. Participates in important international exhibitions and competitions, has won awards. Her works are included into the graphic design books of publishers “Rotovision”, “Harper Collins”, “Rockport”, “How books”, “Graphis”, “ETAPES” and magazines Novum, Artlab. In addition to the teaching and the professional practice, participates and presents papers at international conferences, conducts workshops for students in Finland (Aalto University, Lahti Institute of Design), France (Paris Ecole Estienne), Greece (TEI), China (CAFA, HUHST), Belarus (Grodno J. Kupala University), Poland (Polish-Japanese academy of information technology, Academy of Fine Arts and Design Katowice), German (Stuttgart MERZ Academy), Island Arts University (Reykjavik).

  • The international project "The Art of the Balts”- identity, communication system and exhibition catalogs 2009-2011;
  • The book "Architectural composition" - the finalist of “50 Books / 50 Covers” 2012 contest; The book "Meno Celes" - the finalist of “50 Books / 50 Covers” 2014 contest (AIGA and Design Observer, New York, USA);
  • Logo „Heartprint“ - the finalist of the Graphic Design Award competition by Yamaha. 2015
  • The book „Absoliuti tekstile” - the winner of the RED DOT Communication Design Award. 2016
  • The Exhibition design dedicated to A. J. Greimas 100 years Anniversary in Paris EHESS, Kaunas and Vilnius. 2017
  • The exposition and a catalogue graphic designer for the thirst exhibition for MO museum “Visas menas apie mus”. 2018
