Yes, you can apply for and receive scholarships. It depends on your study program, your academic achievements, activities, social status, and other, as the scholarships have different types.
Yes, it is possible, but for the first semester students shall pay the tuition fee before the beginning of that semester, and after that - you can pay monthly. For this you need to write a request form and foward it to your study department. Tuition fees for other semesters are to be paid within 15 calendar days from the beginning of each semester.
*Your detailed payment structure is stated in your student contract.
We would like to inform you that you to need to collect either 240 ECTS (BA) / 120 ECTS (MA) study credits which is equal to 30 credits per semester. There is also an option to choose an elective course with the required number of credits. The student must monitor their study plan, credits, and the taken subjects by checking their VDA Academic information system (AIS).

If you want to take a one-year academic break, please write a request form stating the reason and inform the International Relations Office by email (international@vda.lt).
*Please note that international students have their student Temporary residence permit/visa cancelled during the academic break period.
Students shall apply to issue a student card only from the starting date of a new semester, once their student status will be visible within the Student Registry.

You may also need to have a Student status confirmation issued by the Academy when picking up your ISIC in-person (contact the IR Office international@vda.lt or VDA Studies Office directly).
⇒ Student cards give discounts, but in some places (e.g. in public transport, if you buy a cheaper ticket), you must show the student card, otherwise, you risk being charged an administrative fine).
No, the VDA does not have a uniform policy or a specific dress code. Your self-expression and creativity are welcome.

For a visa/residence permit - you must apply no later than 2 months before the expiration date, but no earlier than 6 months.
If you want to receive/renew a temporary residence permit, check this relevant information. To complete your application, you will need a mediation letter issued by the International Relations Office. Please contact us and include your passport in the email.
If it is urgent, please immediately contact the Migration department with a request for the issuance or extension of a visa/residence permit or go to their website and log in using your personal email (if you do not have a personal identification number or no online bank account in Lithuania).
Reports and/or complaints about possible violations of academic ethics should be sent to etika@vda.lt (addressed to the Academic Ethics Committee of the Senate) or etika.sa@vda.lt (addressed to the VDA Student Union).
