VAA Kaunas faculty program "Textile art and media" has renewed and changed its name, from now on the program is called "Textile and fashion".

"We renewed and changed the name - to adapt to the changes in the textile and fashion industry. The study program "Textiles and Fashion" reflects the global changes that are taking place in the field of modern textiles and fashion and combines the principles of the development of textile materials and the application of fashion design methods," says the head of the program Assoc. Prof. Rita Kaupelienė.

The aim of the Bachelor of Textiles and Fashion study program is to train designers with practical abilities, skills and theoretical knowledge required in the modern field of textiles and fashion.

The study program "Textiles and Fashion" combines the principles of the development of textile materials and the application of fashion design methods. Students acquire theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the following areas: traditional, modern, digital textile and fashion creation technologies.

Graduates of this program will be able to work as designers in Lithuanian and foreign textile and fashion companies, work as freelance creators in the fields of design and art, and create unique textile and fashion products on their own.
