Henrik B. Andersen studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts under sculptor and professor Willy Ørskov and sculptor and professor Hein Heinsen. His works practice an ongoing search of ways to incorporate scientific cognition in a modern sculptural language. The production spans from figurative sculptures, saturated with significance to more formal, open, structural and abstract pieces. The works appears complex and exclusive; simultaneously their immediate presence makes them sensually accessible.
