Students who choose Ceramics Specialty learn the main ceramics technologies.

  • to apply molding, decorating techniques, 
  • to produce ceramic masses and glazes,
  • the combustion technologies of objects,
  • to work with ceramic equipment, 3D printer and other tools.

Students work at available studios that are provided with plaster workshops, ringing equipment, etc. Students work with a variety of materials - clay, stoneware, porcelain. Non-traditional ceramic materials are also used for the realization of students ideas: concrete, plastic, metal, video/audio, etc.

Kaunas Faculty of Vilnius Academy of Arts is the only place in Lithuania that teaches students the skill of bone china processing.
