Dr. Julija Fomina has been elected as the new Nordic-Baltic KUNO network Steering Group member

An election took place at the annual KUNO network meeting on October 11th at the Iceland University of the Arts in Reykjavik. The VDA Art History and Theory department senior lecturer and art researcher Dr. Julija Fomina has been elected as the new Nordic-Baltic KUNO network Steering Group member for a four-year term. 

The other three current KUNO network Steering Group members are Bjarki Bragason (Iceland University of the Arts), Nabil Ahmed (Trondheim Academy of Fine Art in Norway), and Dr. Leevi Haapala (University of the Arts in Helsinki, Finland). The Steering Group members are responsible for the vision and goal implementation of the KUNO network, cooperation among the network members, as well as the development of new network initiatives. 

Since 2021, the VDA has been coordinating the KUNO network, which connects 18 higher education art schools and actively contributes to the academic cooperation of the Nordic and Baltic countries.
