On Thursday, January 18, the 21st "Higher Education Fair 2024" was bustling in Kaunas' "Žalgiris" arena. 35 scientific institutions operating in Lithuania, including the Vilnius Academy of Arts (hereinafter - VAA), presented their study programs to current and future graduates at a stand prepared by the Kaunas Faculty of Design Department team, which presented the programs of all faculties (Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipėda and Telšiai).
The main goal of the "Higher Education Fair 2024" is to inform young people about career and study opportunities in Lithuania so that their decision about their future career is simple and clear. Thus, during the day-long fair, representatives of the academy told students, their parents and teachers about the programs of interest to them, answered their questions: from admissions, studies to accommodation.
Last year, 13,860 visitors from all over Lithuania visited the fair, observing the flow of visitors this year, there were even more visitors, among them a number of them besieged the VAA stand. The students were interested in all programs and faculties, and there were those who, knowing and preparing for admission, simply asked their future colleagues - students about the atmosphere at the academy and what motivates them to create.
In the innovation zone, the attention of the visitors was attracted by the work of head of the program "3D art objects: sculpture, ceramics, glass" of the Kaunas faculty, Assoc. The work of Tadas Vosylius is a vibrating mirror.
