Open Door Day at the Kaunas Faculty of Vilnius Academy of Arts on April 17th!
We invite everyone considering studying at Kaunas Faculty of Vilnius Academy of Arts to visit and get acquainted with our environment, programs, and academic community!
PROGRAM:
2:00 PM – 5:00 PM: The Department of Painting invites you to the event "Academicism and Modernity," during which those interested in studying at VDA KF are encouraged to join a plaster-form painting workshop. During the workshop, you can also bring your favorite paints! Location: Muitinės str. 2, courtyard.
2:00 PM – 5:00 PM: The Department of Design is organizing an exhibition of student works, presentation-discussion of study programs, and a Q&A session. Location: Muitinės str. 4, room 410a.
2:00 PM – 5:00 PM: At the Drawing Studio, you will have the opportunity to get acquainted with drawing classrooms, student, and teacher works. Location: Muitinės str. 2, rooms 214 – 218a.
2:00 PM – 5:00 PM: In the Department of Architecture, you will be greeted by Assoc. Prof. E. Jackus and Assoc. Prof. M. Butvila (Architecture), Assoc. Prof. T. Kuleša and Lecturer K. Ancutaitė (Interior Design), who will invite you for consultations, brief presentations of programs, and discussions. Location: Muitinės str. 2, room 212a.
2:00 PM – 5:00 PM: The Textile and Fashion Program invites you to the exhibition "Textile and Fashion" and a meeting where students and teachers will present the study program. Location: Muitinės str. 2, rooms C 1.7 – C 1.9a.
2:00 PM – 5:00 PM: The 3D Art Objects Program: glass, sculpture, ceramics invites prospective students to visit a new exhibition, attend an educational workshop where everyone will have the opportunity to experience the subtleties of bronze casting, and the program's students will introduce anyone interested to the casting process. Location: Muitinės str. 2, room D 1.4a.
2:00 PM – 5:00 PM: The Department of Graphics invites you to an exhibition of student works, presentation of study programs, and a Q&A session. Location: Muitinės str. 4, room 103a.
