FashionTEX is a 3-year project aiming to create expertise and educate students in digital fashion at fashion universities. It will enhance the curricula to future-oriented and more sustainable content. The fashion industry relies on digital fashion in all areas of the value cycle, from design to sales and the technologies used develop rapidly. Our needs analysis shows that education at fashion schools in Europe is often behind what the industry already implemented. Also, schools are at very different stages with their education: some are teaching at advanced level, others are still at the beginning of training digital fashion. FashionTEX closes these gaps.

The implementation of digital fashion will be realized with different project modules: Atelier courses at each partnering fashion school, joint Makerspaces and public Fashion Shows. By meetings, conferences and workshops, online and onsite, the partners cooperate closely and develop education modules that raise the quality of apprenticeship at the participating universities and beyond to a new level of knowledge and sharing of expertise. The results will be implemented and passed on to lecturers and students in the future, based on a high-quality common curriculum allowing European student exchange programs.

The professional opportunities and competitive potential of graduates on the job market will rise sharply due to expertise in digital fashion and experience in international collaboration.

"Weave Up!" - is an international textile project under the European Commission's Creative Europe programme, which aims to support initiatives that preserve, promote and develop the diversity of Europe's cultural heritage.

The aim of the project is to bring future textile professionals and designers closer to the actors in the textile chain: growers, farmers, craftsmen and textile companies and factories, showing the diversity of textile production and its applications.

The project is implemented by HS_Projets (France), organisers of the international textile festival FITE, Ideias Emergentes (Portugal), organisers of the International Biennial of Contemporary Textiles Contextile, and the Department of Textile Art and Design of the Vilnius Academy of Arts (Lithuania).

The project will include residencies (5 days) and workshops (10 days) in Lithuania, France and Portugal, exploring the life cycle of linen, wool, cork and leather.

The plant or animal nature of the chosen materials requires a wide range of skills and technological know-how to transform them into fibres and textiles. The aim of the residencies is to discover the textile chain of linen, leather, cork and wool, and in the workshops to improve one or two ecological skills for each of these materials. The residencies will take place in 2023 (June-October) and the workshops in 2024 (June-October). Exhibitions and project presentations in different countries will be organised in 2025.

4Cs: From Conflict to Conviviality through Creativity and Culture is a European Cooperation Project co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union. The 4Cs seeks to understand how training and education in art and culture can constitute powerful resources to address the issue of conflict as well as to envision creative ways in which to deal with conflictual phenomena, while contributing to audience development through active participation and co-production. The project aims at advancing the conceptual framework of intercultural dialogue and enhancing the role of public arts and cultural institutions in fostering togetherness through cultural diversity and intercultural encounters.

The European Commission has acknowledged that tackling the migration and refugee crisis is a European obligation that requires a comprehensive strategy and a determined effort. Within such framework, the European Commission has emphasised the role of culture and the arts in contributing towards building a more cohesive and open society through the integration of refugees, helping them to better understand their new environment and its interaction with their own socio-cultural background.

Grounded in the belief that culture and creative practice can emerge as powerful resources in conflict situations, the 4Cs wishes to respond to this challenge by exploring the ways in which culture and the arts can help bring individuals together within a model of intercultural dialogue, mutual recognition, and equal participation. This will be achieved by fostering equal involvement and by promoting cross-cultural collaboration through the creation and development of different activities such as exhibitions, artistic and research residencies, film screenings, mediation labs, workshops, conferences, publications, an online platform, and a Summer School.

The 4Cs aims at responding to the challenges of migration, security, and freedom of expression by raising awareness about the role of creative and cultural work in the strengthening of European identity and European citizenship in a project of peace and conviviality. The 4Cs will support community members in their role as active agents in the cultural scene at local, regional, national, and international levels and contribute to a lasting change of attitude and active citizenship in local communities.

REED’s idea is to create innovative circular economy corporate responsibility waste initiatives in all partnering countries. This objective is not an objective of the individual partners but is a more far seeing objective to instigate social change in the way that countries and corporates deal with their waste disposal encouraging the use of a new closed loop circular economy business model that embraces a new way of looking at the procurement of products for hotels.
