Profile of study programmeThe master’s study programme of Glass provides university education and theoretical and practical knowledge and abilities of the speciality necessary for professional artist’s practice. Upon completion of the master’s study programme of Glass, graduates will be ready to continue third-cycle university (doctoral) studies, will be able to apply their knowledge in contemporary market conditions, express themselves as critically and conceptually thinking artists both in Lithuanian and international art space (participate in exhibitions and competitions), create and realise interdisciplinary art projects. 3. The main objective of the master’s programme of Glass is to prepare glass artists conforming to international standards and the master’s qualification, who are able to independently conduct scientific research, critically-analytically evaluate and interpret art and cultural phenomena and processes in broad local and international cultural contexts, able to use innovative problem solution methods and develop professional creative activity individually and in an interdisciplinary team; competitive in local and international markets and ready to continue their art doctoral studies or work in the sphere of glass education. |
