About the Project:
The HempForma initiative focuses on transforming locally grown hemp into eco-friendly acoustic panels – an alternative to conventional building materials. This solution is zero-waste and significantly reduces CO₂ emissions.
The project contributes to:
- Reviving Lithuania’s centuries-old hemp industry;
- Supporting local farmers;
- Reducing deforestation;
- Building a circular economy in line with the sustainable design principles of the New European Bauhaus.
We congratulate the NEB Research Center's researcher, Viltė Adomavičiūtė, and wishing further success in making Lithuania and "HempForma" project well-known both in Lithuania and across Europe!
