On October 10–11, the Vilnius Academy of Arts brought Lithuanian creativity and design to the Lithuanian Days festival in Los Angeles, California, introducing visitors to the Academy’s artistic community, study opportunities, and international outlook.

At the VDA exhibition booth, visitors could discover selected design works by the Academy’s graduates, offering a glimpse into the talent, creativity, and diverse ideas emerging from Lithuania’s largest and oldest state art academy. The works of Gegimantas Ribinskas, Saulius Rancevas, Elzė Raubytė, and Liepa Marija Gradauskaitė were selected and represented at the display of the VDA booth.

The VDA representatives, Aistė Ivanovaitė, International Relations Office Coordinator, and Gintarė Černiauskaitė, Associate Professor at the department of Design, also held a presentation in one of the event’s classrooms, sharing the Academy’s history, study programmes, and opportunities to become part of its international academic community.

Beyond presenting the Academy’s work, the visit was an opportunity to build connections, explore potential partnerships, and introduce VDA to prospective students and academic staff in the United States.

Through its participation, VDA strengthened its international visibility and celebrated the role of art, design, and education in connecting Lithuania with communities abroad.
