Vilnius Academy of Arts (VDA) was represented at the 36th Annual EAIE Conference and Exhibition, held in Glasgow on September 8th-11th, 2026. Bringing together more than 7,300 international higher education professionals from over 100 countries, the event provided a valuable platform for sharing ideas, exploring new approaches and strengthening international connections.

Representing International Relations Office of the VDA, Aistė Ivanovaitė took part in the conference as part of the Study in Lithuania stand, together with representatives of other Lithuanian higher education institutions.

Throughout the event, VDA engaged with existing international partners and established new connections with higher education institutions from around the world. Discussions focused on potential collaborations, opportunities for developing new partnerships, academic and staff mobility, as well as innovative approaches to strengthening internationalisation and improving academic processes. It was a pleasure to meet our partners from around the world in-person.

The conference theme, “The Rhythm of Revolution,” invited higher education professionals to question exhisting practices, embrace new ideas, and consider how collaboration and innovation can shape the future of international education. The programme featured more than 240 sessions and activities covering topics ranging from international partnerships and mobility to marketing, admissions, and digitalisation as the new approaches to higher education.

For VDA, participation in EAIE was an opportunity not only to represent the Academy internationally, but also to exchange experience, identify emerging opportunities, and continue building a diverse network of partners. By connecting with institutions and professionals across borders, VDA continues to explore new ways of creating meaningful international opportunities for its students and academic community.
