The Vilnius Academy of Arts is traditionally inviting all students, faculty members, and the VDA community to the opening ceremony of the new academic year! The events will take place at all of the VDA Faculties in Vilnius, Kaunas, Telšiai, and Klaipėda.
Vilnius Faculty:
10:00 Holy Mass at the Bernardinai Church (Maironio St. 10).
11:00 Opening ceremony of the new academic year at the VDA New palace Chess hall (Malūnų St. 5).
13:00 Opening session for first-year students at the VDA Old palace Gothic hall (Maironio St. 6).
16:00 Graphic Art department display "22° G: terpė" opening, VDA gallery "5 Malūnai“ (Malūnų St. 5).
17:00 Graphic Art department lecturer display "22° G: rėžis" opening, VDA gallery "Akademija" (Pilies St. 44).
18:00 Graphic Art department graduate display "22° G: būvis" opening, VDA display halls "Titanikas", II floor (Maironio St. 3).
19:00 We celerate the opening of the new academic year at the VDA Old palace Ceramics courtyard (Maironio St. 6).
Kaunas Faculty:
12:00 Opening ceremony of the new academic year at the VDA Kaunas Faculty inner courtyard (Muitinės St. 2).
12:30 First-year meeting with study departments.
14:00 Student picnic and live music concert at the "Eglė" courtyard (Muitinės St. 2).
Telšiai Faculty:
15:00 Opening ceremony of the new academic year at the VDA Telšiai gallery Kęstučio St. 3-2).
16:30 Telšiai guided tour for first-year students with guide Andrius Dacius (start – Žemaitijos tourism information center).
Klaipėda Faculty:
10:00 Opening ceremony of the new academic year at the VDA Klaipėda Faculty (Daržų St. 18).
10:30 First-year meeting with the Heads of the study departments.
11:00 Campus tour of Klaipėda Faculty.
