The Vilnius Academy of Arts has received a special award in the “Quality Competition 2025” for the implementation of an Erasmus+ programme project.
On March 2, the award ceremony took place at the Ministry, organized by the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport of the Republic of Lithuania and the Education Exchanges Support Foundation (EESF). During the event, the VDA was granted a special award for the outstanding quality of its implementation of an Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme.
The award was presented for the project “NewIDeA 2024 Design Workshop.” The project was led by the VDA Associate professor Andrejus Repovas of the Kaunas Faculty.
The EESF emphasized that the project stood out for its high implementation quality and strong alignment with the main priorities of the Erasmus+ programme. “NewIDeA 2024 Design Workshop” was selected from 60 Blended Intensive Programmes implemented within KA131 projects.
The project was evaluated according to several key criteria. The programme was implemented in full, all participants completed the EU Survey questionnaires, and the project received the highest participant ratings, ranging from 90 to 100 percent. In addition, it made a significant contribution to the priorities of the Erasmus+ programme, while social partners were actively involved in the programme’s activities.
