Vilnius Academy of Arts invites international Master’s students to take part in a nationally funded internship opportunity supported by the Education Exchanges Support Foundation (EESF). This initiative offers students the chance to gain practical professional experience in Lithuania, receive a monthly schoarship, and potentially build connections that could lead to future employment.

Eligibility

This opportunity is open to international MA students currently in their final year of studies at the Vilnius Academy of Arts OR current 1st year MA students (starting their internships from September, 2026).

Internship details

• Practical internship duration: 2 months;
• Workload: at least 20 hours per week (80 hours per month minimum);
• Timeline: for current MA 1st year students: (start) from September 1 - (end) November 30; for current MA 2nd year students: (start) from May 1 - (end) August 31;
• Scholarship: 650 Eur./month.

Finding an internship placement

Participants must secure their own internship placement. The placement should:

• Be related to your study programme;
• Be at a company or organization of your choice in Lithuania;
• Not be at VDA or a company where you are currently employed by contract;
• Be arranged independently, through your department’s recommendation, professional contacts, or other networks;
• It may be the same organization where you previously completed an internship.
