After a brief interruption in 2020, NAC is happy to relaunch the international collaborations with Vorarlberg Municipality and AIR Niederösterreich. Throughout June–September the artists Romana Hagyo and Silke Maier-Gamauf, Enar de Dios Rodriguez, and Lukas Hochrieder will stay in Nida while the artist Ona Juciūtė participates to the residency programme at AIR Niederösterreich in Krems. Further participants to NAC residency programme this summer include the curator Azar Mahmoudian who is working on the exhibition Sensible Grounds to open at NAC on 16 July 2021, and the artists Martina Buzzi and Nicolas Buzzi who are developing an on site performance related to the shepherding residency ongoing throughout October at NAC. The artist Thomas Splett continues his residency that was interrupted in March 2020 by the lockdown and Studio for Propositional Cinema will work on a new production in Nida as part of an ongoing collaboration with the art space Swallow in Vilnius. 

This summer NAC also continues collaborations with other art organizations and institutions and welcomes the teams of Swallow in Vilnius and Kunstverein in Amsterdam to take time off from their locations and stay in residency at NAC.
