VDA students are welcome to apply for the International internship program at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice, Italy. The International Internship Program is designed for students in art, art history or related disciplines, who are interested in gaining first-hand experience of how a museum is run and familiarity with an important collection of modern art.
- Timeline: August or September, 2025 (for a maximum duration of 1 month).
- Place: Peggy Guggenheim Collection, Venice, Italy.
- Financial support: 1000 Eur.
- Number of places: for 2 VDA students.
- Application requirements: good knowledge of English and a basic level of Italian language (or showing willingness to learn e.g., enrolment on a beginner’s language course), high motivation. Knowledge of other foreign languages is considered as an advantage.
- Selection criteria: high motivation, high academic performance, good knowledge of foreign languages, excellent communication skills.
