Applications for the Autumn semester or full academic year 2024/2025 will be accepted from 1st April to 21st of August 2024. All applications must be submitted by using the online form. Paper or e-mail applications will be automatically rejected.

HOW TO APPLY STEPS

Please note, you need to have your own portfolio when applying to the VDA. These should be your works, creations uploaded online with a link to Google Drive, social networks, video, or website, your blog, etc. 

Please avoid sending your portfolio through file-sharing programs where uploaded material must be downloaded within a limited time, such as Wetransfer.

On the system:

1. From the top menu bar, under Apply for degree studies click on the Application portal.

2. Select the desired degree card and click Apply.

3. You will be redirected to the Application portal.

4.  Enter the desired programme, select filter options below (degree, terms, and languages) and click Find programmes.

5. After selecting a program from the results, click Apply now ! (please note that admissions must have started).

After you have been accepted to study at the VDA and received confirmation of acceptance, you will receive an online confirmation form for accommodation, which you must fill out immediately due to limited places in the dormitory.

Preference is given to International students.

Yes. If the student misses the exam without a serious reason, the application for studies going to be suspended.

You can submit one study application in which you can apply for up to 3 different study programmes, in different faculties.

Yes, if you get a fully or partially funded place by the state. It depends on your admission score.
Also, you can get scholarships depending on your academic activity, status, etc.

You must be able to show your creations/portfolio and must have your personal ID/passport.

BA. Fee-paying international students:

Application opens - 1st of February. Application deadline - 20th of June.

MA. Fee-paying international students:

Application opens - 1st of February. Application deadline - 1st of July.

P.h.D acceptance dates often differ, so more detailed information regarding doctoral programs at VDA can be obtained from Alfreda Pilitauskaitė, Coordinator of Doctoral programs, alfreda.pilitauskaite@vda.lt.

• If the data, motivation, and portfolio you provided are good, you should have received a response from the VDA. 
• We will review your application and if it has all the necessary documents we will forward it to the relevant department of the program you are applying for. 
• They will review your portfolio and verify that it meets the minimum requirements, we will issue you a pre-acceptance letter and invite you to an admission interview, which usually takes place at the end of June - beginning of July.

Yes. All students from Non-EU/EEA are welcome and are already successfully studying at the VDA.
