Applications for the Autumn semester or full academic year 2025/2026 will be accepted from the 1st of February - 1st of July, 2025. All applications must be submitted by using the online form. Paper or e-mail applications will be automatically rejected.
Yes. All students from Non-EU/EEA are welcome and are already successfully studying at the VDA.
You can submit one application in which you can apply for up to 3 different study programmes, in different faculties at once.
BA state-funded international students:
Application opens - 1st of June. Application deadline - 14th of June
BA fee-paying international students:
Application opens - 1st of February. Application deadline - 20th of June.
MA fee-paying international students:
Application opens - 1st of February. Application deadline - 1st of July.
P.h.D acceptance dates often differ, hence, more detailed information regarding doctoral programs at VDA can be obtained from Alfreda Pilitauskaitė, Coordinator of Doctoral programs, alfreda.pilitauskaite@vda.lt.
If the data, motivation, and portfolio you provided are sufficient, you should receive a response from the VDA and be invited to the next stage.
We will review your application and if it has all the necessary documents, we will forward it to the relevant department of the programme/s you are applying for.
They will review your portfolio and if they verify that it meets the minimum requirements, after the admissions timeframe we will invite you to an online entrance exam interview (admissions interview), which usually takes place at the end of June - beginning of July.

Yes. If the student misses the exam without a plausible reason, the application for studies is rejected.
Through the online entrance exam inerview (admissions exam), you must be able to show your portfolio and have your personal ID/passport. More detailed entrance exam rules and requirements can be found here: Entrance exam.
Yes, if you get a fully or partially-funded place by the state. Additionally, you can get scholarships depending on your academic activity, status, etc. More information about scholarships here: Scholarships.
After you have been accepted to study at the VDA and received confirmation of acceptance, you will receive an online application form for accommodation to fill out to qualify for a spot at the VDA dormitory. Due to limited places in the dormitory preference will be given to international students.
