On 15-19 January 2024, Vilnius Academy of Arts hosted the international KUNO network workshop Intersections - Streaming and Performance Art.

During the workshop, the participants got acquainted with the field of performance art, the characteristics of live streaming and the hardware and software required for it.

The participants explored the spaces of the Vilnius campus, discussed and developed their ideas, and on the last day of the workshop, they streamed their performances via the streaming platform Twitch:

The workshop was organised and facilitated by Vygintas Orlovas, a lecturer at the Department of Native Art and Scenography, together with artist-researcher, performance artist, curator Daina Pupkevičiūtė, dancer, performance artist, event organiser Povilas Bastis (aka drag queen Miss Plastica) and full-time streamer, Twitch partner and educator from Sweden Stephanie (aka Apollolol).

The workshop was attended by students from the VDA and art schools from Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Latvia, Estonia and the Czech Republic.
