On November 10th, Friday at the Museum of Applied Arts and Design the winners of the jubilee fifteenth "Young Painter's Prize" (YPP) were awarded and an exhibition of finalists works was opened. The main prize this year was awarded to Agata Orlovska, a graduate of the Master's program at the Painting Department of the Vilnius Academy of Arts.

"The Rooster Gallery Open" an exclusive mention award was presented to Viltė Čepulytė, a graduate of the Bachelor's program at the Painting Department of the Vilnius Academy of Arts.

The winner of the main prize was awarded a financial prize of 5,000 euros, a two-month art residency at the Norwegian Art Residency Center NKD with a scholarship, and the opportunity to organize a solo exhibition at the "Pamėnkalnis" gallery in Vilnius.

Agata Orlovska's work will be included in the collection of paintings at the Lithuanian National Art Museum, housed in the National Art Gallery.
