Prof. Kęstutis Vasiliūnas from the Graphic Art department was invited to the State University of
New York at Fredonia.
Prof. Vasiliunas gave the lecture You Are Watched, made the big-size-print workshop for the students, and had the solo exhibition The Lily & the Bird inspired by the book by Søren Kierkegaard The Lily of the Field and the Bird of the Air in
the Rockefeller Arts Center.
His visit was supported by the Vilnius Academy of Arts, Erasmus+ programme.
Prof. Kęstutis Vasiliūnas met with the University Rector Dr J. Andy Karafa and Dr Michele Bernatz, head of the Visual Arts and New Media department, and discussed the possibilities of cooperation between the State University of New York at Fredonia and the Vilnius Academy of Arts and agreed to create conditions for the exchange of students.
