[LT] Miestai. Keliaujantys namai
Šiuolaikinio pasaulio dinamiškumas, jo poveikis visoms žmogiškosios būties sferoms suponavo meninio projekto temą „Miestai. Keliaujantys namai“. Projekte siekiama „žvilgtelėti“ į urbanizacijos bei technologijų bumo įtaką kasdienybei, laiko ir erdvės santykio kaitą, kai informacijos perpildytoje sociokultūrinėje erdvėje geografiniai atstumai netenka reikšmės, o gyvenimas tampa ypač judrus, skatinantis nuolatinę kūrybinės ir gyvenamosios erdvės kaitą. Tokiame kontekste ryškėja klausimas – kur yra tikrieji namai? Savo kompozicijomis svarstau, kiek žmogui svarbu išsiugdyti „vidinių namų“ pajautą, ar dažnai pasaulio pilietis ilgisi „savo namų“.
„Keliaujantys namai“ yra „vidiniai namai“ – tai, ką mes turime omenyje sakydami „esu namie“. Būdama svečiose šalyse kartais pasijuntu netvirtai, reikia laiko prisitaikyti prie naujos realybės. Tuomet man svarbu „grįžti į namus“, aktualizuoti jausmą „esu namie“, išlaikyti savo kultūrinį identitetą, o praturtinus jį naujomis patirtimis neprarasti autentiškumo. Todėl pajauta „esu namie“ keliauja kartu su manimi visur po pasaulį – didžiulius miestus, meno centrus ir pan.
Namas, avilys, buveinė visuomet asocijuojasi su gyvybingumu, jaukumu, saugumu. Tokiame kontekste „namai“ įsikūnija asmenyje, tampa tarsi gyvi ir keliauja mumyse visur ir visada; jie keliauja kitoje žmogaus dimensijoje, kitoje realybėje – žmogaus širdyje. Šios kelionės dovanoja begalę išgyvenimų, asocijacijų, kurias perteikiu kompozicijose „Keliaujantys namai“, „Visada su manimi“, „Ten ir čia“, „Ateinu“, „Viduje“, „Žydintys“, „Ilgai laukus dar palauk“ ir kitose.
[EN] Cities: Travelling Homes
The topic for the art project Cities. Travelling Homes was suggested by the dynamism of the contemporary world and its impact on all spheres of human existence. The project is an attempt to glimpse the influence of the urbanisation boom and technologies on our daily lives, as well as on changes in the relation of time and space. In this sociocultural environment overflowing with information, geographic distances are losing their relevance, whereas life is becoming particularly mobile encouraging constant change of creative and living space. This inevitably poses a problem – where is the real home? With my compositions I wish to ask: how important is it for a person to develop the feeling of “inner home,” and how often does a citizen of the world miss “their home.”
“Travelling homes” are those “inner homes” we have in mind when we say “I’m at home.” When I visit foreign countries, I sometimes feel insecure and need time to adapt to a new reality. It is then that I feel the urge to “return home,” to evoke the sensation that “I’m at home,” to maintain my cultural identity and enrich it with new experiences without losing authenticity. That is why that sensation of “I’m at home” always travels with me all over the world – in megalopolises, art centres, and the like.
A home, hive or dwelling is typically associated with vitality, cosiness and safety. Within such a context “a home” inside a person becomes alive and travels with us everywhere at all times; it travels in a different human dimension, in alternative reality – within a human heart. Such journeys offer a lot of experiences and associations I have tried to convey in my compositions Travelling Homes, Always with Me, There and Here, I’m Coming, Inside, In Bloom, You Must Wait and others.
