We kindly invite all MA students (1st year students in particular) to take part in the Erasmus+ competition for exchange studies abroad during the Spring semester of the 2024/2025 academic year.
Please fill the Application Form before the 22nd of September 2023. In order to submit an online application, please make sure you are using your VDA email account. Once you submit your application, you should receive a confirmation upon successful submission. In case you do not get such a confirmation, please contact the VDA International Office prior to the application deadline. Late applications will not be accepted.
You can choose the host university for your Erasmus+ exchange from the list of the VDA partner universities (also only accessible via the VDA Google account).
While selecting a host institution please make sure they have a study programme that matches yours, that you meet their language requirements and that you will be able to meet their internal application deadline (a deadline before the 1st of October is not recommended as there will be no time to submit your application). Also, please investigate the cost of living in a city you are interested in since the Erasmus+ grant amount is fixed.
Step 1:
Selection process at VDA:
The selection will be done by the VDA Internationalisation Group.
All applicants are obliged to have the minimum B2 level in English (or another language of instruction of the host university). More information regarding grants and the selection process is available here.
The selection results will be announced before the 9th of October by email.

Application to host universities abroad:
Please note that having won the VDA Erasmus+ competition for exchange does not guarantee your acceptance to your chosen university.
If you are awarded an Erasmus+ grant, you will be contacted by the International Relations Office regarding further nomination and application steps.
Host universities will select the students on the basis of their portfolios.

Due to the VDA limited Erasmus+ budget, we only invite MA students to apply during this additional competition. BA, PhD and Integrated study programme students will be able to apply for Erasmus+ exchange studies during the main competition that will take place in February 2025.
