On September 9th, the VDA signed a "Memorandum of Understanding" for MISTI programme initiation with the USA's Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the Research Council of Lithuania.
Currently, the international research and technology initiative programme (MISTI) is actively working in 25 countries: Japan, Singapore, Denmark, Italy, Norway, Portugal, Germany, France, Great Britain, Australia, and other.
The signing of this document will ensure the MISTI programme development and sustainability in Lithuania, and for the VDA it will provide access to research, technology, and innovation resources of the MIT, as well as open opportunities to international collaboration in the art and science research spheres.
The "Memorandum of Understanding" has been signed by: the Research Council of Lithuania, Vilnius Academy of Arts, Ministry of the Economy and Innovation of the Republic of Lithuania, Vytautas Magnus University, Tech-Park Kaunas, Association INFOBALT, "Lithuanian Railways" LTG, Lithuanian Energy Institute, Lithuanian Etnocosmology Museum, and AB "Ignitis".
