On October 7’th , 5-9 p.m. the mobile laboratory "media - lab - van", after visiting the "Ars Electronica" festival in Linz, Austria, will make a stop at the SODAS 2123 cultural centre and in the Alt Lab studio. The young artists in their vans, having reflected on the theme called "Planet B", have covered almost 3000 km and will finish the second part of their activities, this time in Vilnius. A group of VDA students invites you to two workshops:

„Canopic jars of analogus embryos“: During the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to theoretically and practically familiarize themselves with the state of an embryo by recreating this position. Such co-created “embryos” will be pictured on analog film and later preserved in canopic jars by making film soup "preservative".

The workshop will be led by:

- Dagnė Petkevičiūtė
- Kotryna Mauragytė
- Dominykas Andriuškevičius

"Reverse - luriki": This is a workshop where we question the value of photographs belonging to our personal archive. The participant interprets and manipulates the photographs that belong to the family of the workshop supervisor however he or she desires.

The workshop will be led by:
- Margarita Valionytė

*To the “Reverse - luriki” workshop we invite you to bring one photograph that belongs to either your own or other family. During the workshop, the works created from the photographs will be installed as a collection - archive in the upcoming exhibition.

The results of both workshops will later be seen in the exhibition held in the cultural space of FAMM, SODAS 2123 cultural centre. The date of the exhibition will be announced soon.
