Every year for Nida Art Colony welcomes student groups from Poland, Italy and Lithuania to create innovative and contemporary brand, package and poster designs. Together with tutors from the same countries they form three international teams and get opportunity to work on real design projects.
NewIDea 2019 collaborates with four social partners / companies: Eduardas Keleras, MB "Medicinos rinkodara", UAB "Amber by Mazukna" and Open Lithuania Foundation. The companies presented three creative tasks:
1. Creation of brand design for modern Baltic amber jewellery.
2. Creation of packaging design for modern Baltic amber jewellery.
3. Creation of social poster design for Active Citizens Fund program.
From 9 to 15 September twenty four participants work hard brainstorming and later on visulizing their ideas. While in the evenings they have some free time socialising, one evening was specifically called "an internationl evening" when every participating country prepared their national meals.
The results of the creative workshop will be presented on Sunday 15 September. On this day every participant will receive a diploma confirming their newly gained teamworking and international cooperation skills.
The main goal of NewIDea 2019 Design Workshop is to establish an innovative and contemporary symbiosis of art, science and business. The workshop is intended for young people that have theoretical and practical experience in the field of design.
