After acclaimed showcases in London and Milan, the Tactile Baltics exhibition returns to the region that shaped it. From May 22 to June 9, 2025, Vilnius will host the most comprehensive display of Baltic design to date—featuring 21 designers from Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. Curated by Audronė Drungilaitė, Dita Danosa, and Triin Loks, the exhibition invites audiences to experience design through form, material, and emotion.

A New Generation of Baltic Designers

Tactile Baltics presents a new wave of designers working across glass, ceramics, textiles, and wood—many of whom are shaping the next generation of Northern European aesthetics. The pieces speak in a common language of tactility and restraint, rooted in regional heritage but refined through a modern lens. The exhibition is not only a showcase of objects, but a reflection of Baltic identity expressed through material culture.

Where Heritage Meets Design

The main exhibition will be hosted at Hotel PACAI, a member of Design Hotels™, located in the heart of Vilnius’ Old Town. Formerly a Baroque palace and now a design-forward boutique hotel, PACAI offers a layered architectural backdrop for the exhibition. Here, history and minimalism converge—providing a meaningful setting for the sensory narratives embedded in the Tactile Baltics collection.

Design Dialogue Beyond the Gallery

A parallel experience unfolds at the Range Rover showroom in Vilnius, where selected works from the Tactile Baltics exhibition will be shown in dialogue with modern design forms. The showroom presentation also marks 55 years of Range Rover design. Shown in parallel with these crafted pieces, the vehicles are part of a broader reflection on timeless design values—where proportion, material choice, and emotional presence shape how we experience form over time.

One Narrative, Two Locations

Across both venues, Tactile Baltics invites reflection on how design communicates beyond words. From the architectural tension of PACAI to the curated precision of the showroom, each element builds a multisensory narrative about craftsmanship, place, and cultural continuity.
