Research interests: Lithuanian visual art in the 2nd half of the 20th c.

b. 1971, Vilnius; lives and works in Vilnius. Since 1995 has been with VAA Institute of Art Research, since 2008 as a Senior Researcher.
1995 graduated from Vilnius Academy of Arts with a degree in art criticism, 2005 defended her PhD thesis in art criticism “Lithuanian Small Graphics: Forms of Artistic Communication by Mail (1960-1990)” (supervisor Prof. Dr. Raminta Jurėnaitė). Since 1995 has worked in the Institute of Art Research, since 2005 has been a Head of the Department of Doctoral Studies at VAA.
1994–1995 was teaching in Jūratė Stauskaitė children art school, 1998–1999 was lecturing at the Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences. 2003–2009 was lecturing on the morphology of art at VAA.
Her area of interests covers Soviet Lithuanian art, graphic arts, traditional and contemporary creative techniques and marginal phenomena in art. She sees as her goal the revealing of researched phenomena and personalities in the most authentic manner.
Since 2005 a member of the Lithuanian Association of Art Historians.
