Meeting with the Professor of Central Saint Martins (London) University, Chair of Arts, Design & Science at University of Arts (London) Rob Kesseler will be held on 16th of November at 4 pm at the Klaipeda Faculty of Vilnius Academy of Arts.

According to prof. R. Kesseler: "We are living in a time when the territories of art & science are converging. Areas of synthetic biology offer a fertile resource for designers and artists, and the digital imaging and manufacturing platforms have become common across all communities – the boundaries are becoming more permeable, opportunities more diverse“. 

Rob Kesseler is a Professor at Central Saint Martins and Chair of Arts, Design & Science at University of the Arts, London. From March 2001 he was NESTA Fellow at Kew and was recently made a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, the Linnean Society and the Royal Microscopical Society.

The meeting and lecture will be held at 4 pm at the Klaipeda faculty of Vilnius Academy of Arts (Daržų str. 18).
