The study programme is concluded by a professional practice (18 credits) and the final project (30 credits), which represents student’s creative/design qualification work founded on a thorough pre-project applied research. It is a quintessential expression of all the competencies graduating students will have acquired. Successful defence of the final projects leads to the Master of Architecture qualification degree and the qualification of architect as it is defined by the Lithuanian Law on the Recognition of the Regulated Professional Qualifications.

Graduates of the study programme can seek employments with companies of architectural design and territorial planning, the national and municipal institutions of territorial planning and can design structures of a variety of function which meet public needs and the environmental-contextual requirements. After two years of practice (work) in the professional field, they are eligible to seek, following the procedure set by the Government of the Republic of Lithuania, a project leader’s qualification certificate and start their own practice of architectural design. They can follow a scholarly or pedagogical career path with the educational or research institutions or seek administrative positions with the government or municipal institutions, direct creative organizations or design companies and provide services within the area of their professional competence across the European Union.
